Knowledge

"is the understanding of relations and causalities that are important for improving the development effectiveness of interventions, building better business processes, and/or predicting the outcomes of business models." (Independent Evaluation Department. 2012. Knowledge Expert

is a consultant hired by KIP to provide ICT skills and knowledge needed by a Knowledge Client.


Knowledge Host

A government or non-profit organization in need of support from a Knowledge Expert with the necessary ICT  skills and knowledge to apply an innovative solution to a development problem.


Knowledge immersion

"is an approach for learning in which embedded experts work with clients over a sustained period to create and transfer knowledge, customize knowledge to local needs, and build local capacity. Knowledge immersion can occur through: (i) consulting focused on transferring knowledge through personalization, e.g., interaction, and codification, e.g., documents, repositories, and databases; and (ii) knowledge absorption through instruction, e.g., deductive and programmed, and exploration, e.g., trial and error and high learner control." --ADB. 2019. Knowledge products

Knowledge sharing

involve activities that increase awareness of DMCs on advanced and innovative technologies. These may involve tutorials, training materials and the like.


Knowledge solutions
