              In the right circumstances, a wiki can be a very efficient way to gather and distribute information. It can improve collaboration among team members who need to refer to, or work on, the same material. Anyone with the necessary editing rights can add ideas and observations as they occur, often in response to other people's updates.

              Because they're online, wikis can make it easier f to cooperate on tasks, share notes and suggestions, and contribute resources. Where several authors are updating the same piece of work, a wiki can aid version control, as it's always clear which version is the most recent.

            • Assignments

              Assignments allow learners to submit work for grading. The work may be text typed online or uploaded files of any type the teacher’s device can read. Grading may be by simple percentages or custom scales, or more complex rubrics may be used. Learners may submit as individuals or in groups. Deadlines may be set as well.

            • Forum
              The Forum activity allows learners and instructors to exchange ideas by posting comments as part of a 'thread'. Files such as images and media maybe included in forum posts. The instructor can choose to grade and/or rate forum posts and it is also possible to give learners permission to rate each others' posts.
